At the 2025 Consumer Choice Awards, Nthanda Manduwi was recognized as Malawi’s Most Inspiring Female Corporate Leader, an honor awarded to visionary professionals transforming the country’s corporate and business landscape.
She joins an elite legacy, becoming only the second woman to receive this national recognition—following Professor Address Malata, Vice Chancellor of the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST), who was honored in 2024.
This year’s nominees included some of Malawi’s most accomplished corporate leaders:

From her policy research at the United Nations to her ongoing MBA at Michigan State University and current internship at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington, she continues to build sustainable innovation pipelines between Africa and the world.
