Nthanda Manduwi was awarded the 2025 Leadership Award by the Broad College of Business MBA community, recognizing her outstanding leadership, service, and impact during her first year at Michigan State University.
In commemoration of International Youth Day 2024, Ms. Manduwi was featured in the Nation Newspaper as one of Malawi’s Young Minds Paving Way for a Digital Future.
The Ntha Foundation was entrusted as one of the operationalisation partners, in a public-private partnership with the Malawi Government, and as the Project Lead, Nthanda Manduwi was responsible for establishing two tech hubs and developing a comprehensive digital skills syllabus.
Nthanda Manduwi holds a Bachelor of Social Science, double majoring in Economics and Demography, awarded by the University of Malawi โ Chancellor College in 2016. This program served as the foundation of her academic and professional journey, equipping her with rigorous analytical tools to examine issues of inequality, gender, population, and development economics.
