Biography

Nthanda Manduwi is a Michigan-based, Malawian-born systems entrepreneur, author, and innovation strategist building at the intersection of experiential learning, predictive production, and autonomous mobility.
She is the founder and CEO of Q2—a systems company building modularized cyber-physical infrastructure for emerging markets as a Detroit Tech Residency Fellow. Prior to that, she built Bien Corporation, as well as the non-profits Ntha Foundation and Kwathu Kollective.
Her career spans a decade working in entrepreneurship, global development, and technology, including employment with the United Nations and Microsoft. She was selected as one of 18 young professionals globally for the inaugural UNDP Graduate Programme and later became an inaugural Rockefeller Foundation Big Bets Africa Fellow. Through her ventures and research, she focuses on the future of intelligent infrastructure, workforce transformation, food systems, and Africa’s role in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Nthanda holds an MBA from Michigan State University with concentrations in Marketing Management and Business Analytics, and a MSc in Entrepreneurship, specializing in Digital Transformation. Her work and commentary have been featured across international media, academic institutions, and global policy platforms including BBC, and the UN.
