Nthanda is a digital raconteur and published auteur, with an audience of over 300,000 across various digital platforms. Over the past 10 years, she has written about various topics in development, and has delivered various keynotes on digital media and entrepreneurship around the world. She runs a blog byntha.com, and enjoys engaging people from various backgrounds in discourse on human rights, women's empowerment, and development issues.
In 2018, Nthanda founded an NGO - the Ntha Foundation which aims to empower young professionals through skills development and startup financing for young entrepreneurs so they can leverage their creative skills for development work and harness opportunities presented by the digital boom. Through the foundation - she created a community - Bants2Business: a platform for young entrepreneurs to network and engage in progressive conversation, where she serves as the lead producer.
Nthanda was the debut social anchor for the Family Planning News Network, as was launched at the 6th International Conference on Family Planning in 2022. She has attended and facilitated various conferences around the world including the 6th International Conference on Family Planning (Thailand), the UNDP National Evaluation Capacities Conference (Italy), the Young Founders' Conference (Germany), the World Export Development Forum, (Ethiopia), and the 5th International Conference on Family Planning (Rwanda), and more.
She has been a facilitator and panelist on many panel sessions, and she has also hosted various international events including the World Miss University pageant (South Korea, 2018),
As part of her current work, she is the executive producer and host of the UNDP Lessons podcast.
