An entrepreneur and thinker, Nthanda Manduwi is a Malawian storyteller whose writing explores power, development, identity, and the human pursuit of possibility. Her work moves fluidly between intimate life lessons and sweeping critiques of global systems, creating a bridge between the personal and the political.
Nthanda Manduwi earned her Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the Malawi University of Science and Technology in 2024. Her thesis examined how digital transformation can serve as a foundational opportunity for Malawi’s development by creating and refining public information management systems.
Nthanda Manduwi pursued a STEM MBA at the Broad College of Business, Michigan State University as a a Forté Fellow, with a concentration in Marketing Management and Business Analytics.
On the 1st of July, 2024, Ms. Nthanda Manduwi successfully defending her thesis on “The Entrepreneurial Opportunity in Malawi’s Digital Transformation: Modelling Public Information Management Systems for Development.”
In May 2024, Ms. Manduwi was invited by the University of Malawi’s Economics Department to deliver a lecture to the graduating class of 2024 during their exit interview on the power of networking, building connections, and personal branding.
In April 2022, Ms. Manduwi was invited by mHub through the Digital Malawi project to deliver a lecture on Digital Marketing.
On the 30th of November, 2021, Nthanda Manduwi was invited to deliver a lecture at Lilongwe Technical College on Digital Entrepreneurship. She shared her journey, lessons, successes, and essential insights for aspiring digital/ICT entrepreneurs.
