In May 2025, Nthanda Manduwi joins Microsoft Corporation as a Business Development Manager Intern with the Xbox team.
Nthanda Manduwi earned her Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the Malawi University of Science and Technology in 2024. Her thesis examined how digital transformation can serve as a foundational opportunity for Malawi’s development by creating and refining public information management systems.
Nthanda is a Forté Fellow (2024/2025 Forté MBA Ambassador) pursuing a STEM MBA at Michigan State University’s Broad College of Business, focusing on Supply Chain and Marketing Management. She holds leadership roles as the MBA Liaison and Forté Ambassador, aiming to enhance career resources, for in particular women MBAs. She also serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the School of Engineering.
In commemoration of International Youth Day 2024, Ms. Manduwi was featured in the Nation Newspaper as one of Malawi’s Young Minds Paving Way for a Digital Future.
On the 1st of July, 2024, Ms. Nthanda Manduwi successfully defending her thesis on “The Entrepreneurial Opportunity in Malawi’s Digital Transformation: Modelling Public Information Management Systems for Development.”
Ms. Nthanda Manduwi was invited by the Saint Andrews International Highschool as the Guest of Honour at their 2024 Graduation.
Nthanda Manduwi was invited to speak on behalf of youth, to the 2024 Africa Day theme: “An Education Fit for the 21st Century.”
In May 2024, Ms. Manduwi was invited by the University of Malawi’s Economics Department to deliver a lecture to the graduating class of 2024 during their exit interview on the power of networking, building connections, and personal branding.
