In a recent feature, the Malawi News highlights Nthanda Manduwi’s journey of leadership, creativity, and digital innovation. Through her work with the Ntha Foundation, Kwathu Kollective, and Bien Corp, Manduwi has empowered youth and driven Africa’s digital transformation, earning international recognition for her impact on education, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
In January 2025, building upon her MBA Internship with Microsoft Xbox, Nthanda Manduwi founded Q2 Corporation, a systems company at the intersection of agriculture and gaming.
Ms. Nthanda Manduwi—celebrated storyteller, entrepreneur, and advocate for youth empowerment, recently received the prestigious Best International Youth Empowerment Award at the 2024 African Achievement Awards.
Invited by the Government of Rwanda, in collaboration with YouthConnekt Africa and the Mastercard Foundation, Nthanda’s keynote addressed over 40 countries’ youth delegates—an audience filled with changemakers, innovators, and aspiring leaders from around the continent.
In May 2025, Nthanda Manduwi joins Microsoft Corporation as a Business Development Manager Intern with the Xbox team.
Nthanda Manduwi earned her Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the Malawi University of Science and Technology in 2024. Her thesis examined how digital transformation can serve as a foundational opportunity for Malawi’s development by creating and refining public information management systems.
In commemoration of International Youth Day 2024, Ms. Manduwi was featured in the Nation Newspaper as one of Malawi’s Young Minds Paving Way for a Digital Future.
On the 1st of July, 2024, Ms. Nthanda Manduwi successfully defending her thesis on “The Entrepreneurial Opportunity in Malawi’s Digital Transformation: Modelling Public Information Management Systems for Development.”
